I'm glad you made it here. More than likely, those who know me will be shocked that I made it here! I'm the one who has refused to jump on board to most (if not all) social networking mediums...Yet, I have felt called to share my life with others, specifically my life since being diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis, and this has seemed like the best platform at this time.
Have
you ever seen (or read?) the Count of Monte Cristo? It's one of my
favorites, in the end, after all the things that have happened to him,
he realizes that only God is sovereign: "all human
wisdom is contained in these two words--Wait and Hope." I love that and
I think it matches so perfectly with David's heart in Psalms: Wait,
Hope for, and Expect God (Psalm 27:14). So, I want to share some of my
life with you, about how I wait, hope, and expect God...this most often
comes to effect with my dreamer (and dreamy) husband, "Captain America," and our
side-kicks Amos (the dog), Caleb (the puppy) and Tonka (the cat). We are finding ourselves
in this 'wait' period, but I have a feeling that this will hold true
for the rest of our lives! So, please, enjoy it with us.
