Summer is a time when all teachers breath a huge sigh of relief and get to do all of the things that they have wanted to do all year long. I'm a prime example of this....sometimes Captain America thinks that I'm actually busier during 'breaks' than the rest of the year. Last Spring Break would be a prime example of that...phase one of our kitchen reno (...to be continued this summer).
Anyways, regardless of what type of grand schemes I have going on in my head it is always nice to have one change in the house...it just makes me happy whenever I walk into that area of the house. Does this ever happen to you? Well, I want to think small scale, for little changes of 'happy' this summer. Not something that necessarily costs me mullah but something that gets reorganized, or switched rooms, or altered. Something happy. So, check back to see what small change I have made to give a little happiness to our home. Might want to keep a running score, also, of how many things Captain America actually notices...
{Day 1} A New Home For My Wood Plant Carrier
Sometimes Often I get items at antique or thrift stores that I don't have any idea of where it will go but I know that at some point I will get inspired and find the perfect spot. That's what happened to this wood plant carrier. It has been sitting unassuming for long enough with Captain America's
junk prized possessions. Then, the perfect inspiration came to me...what better object could there be than for a coffee table tray? So, here is my new little 'happy' in our living room.
How about you? Do you ever get things for that 'perfect' inspiration? Do you have something, right now, that needs a new 'home'?
