{Day 10} Simplicity

I find simple wreathes beautiful.  I'm not exactly sure why but there is something about their shape and uniformity that is striking....I found this wreath a bit ago and I just hadn't had the chance to put it up anywhere.  So, for a very easy piece of newness in our house, I tied a string to the back of it and placed it on a door that already had a nail in it.

Now, if you come and visit us, that wreath may not be on that particular door but, for right now, this is where I have placed it for an added touch of happiness.

It's the simple things in life that bring such happiness to me...the cool, fresh air in the morning of a summer day, the sound of someone whistling while they work, a baby's laugh, the sound of water, whether it be rain, ocean, stream, or lake, the smell of a book, laughing until you cry, watching the sun glimmer on tree leaves, swimming at night, songs that bring back memories, the smell after it rains, accents, untouched snow...Once I start thinking on these things, the list is endless!  For me, for whatever reason, I would also add: a simple wreath on a door.
